Working with Matt has been a real gift. He has a way of saying things that stick with you long after the call—for me his reminder to “eat for your goals, not your feelings.” That simple phrase shifted the way I looked at my fitness journey, and I still hear it in the back of my mind when I’m prepping meals.
Beyond just my fitness, Matt was there for me during one of the hardest seasons of my life as my mom battled cancer. Those weekly calls gave me space to process what I was going through, and I could feel how deeply he listened and cared. Having that kind of support meant more than I can put into words.
At the same time, Matt helped me step into the goals I’d been putting off for some time. I’ve always had a passion for fitness, but for a long time it just stayed a passion. Matt encouraged me enough to finally take the leap and put action behind it. With his support, I went after my Personal Training Certification (NASM) and also became a Certified FRC Mobility Specialist (FRCms). That’s something I’m incredibly proud of, and Matt was one of the first people I wanted to share the news with.
If you’re a man going through a major life transition or simply ready to author your next chapter, I can’t recommend Matt enough. He’s not only a great coach, but a great man who genuinely invests in the people he works with. I know he’ll continue to make a real impact on the lives of those he coaches.
